I was ON FREAKIN SET TODAY!

oh my freakin god.

Filming..

WAS SO MUCH FUN! despite the heat, and major blotchy sunburn... First thing we did at 9am was go sign in. I met one of the casting in charge of extras, Steve. My god did he enjoy tourmenting the hell out of me, after I mentioned the fansite I co run, that i came on on behalf of. You would not believe the turn out! people from france, people from Tifino, in victoria, Seinour organizations, Daycares, Special Aid..

The first scene we did, was me, my sister, and my sisters friend. My sisters friend is blonde hair and curly, very fall-ish wardrobe. She's th first person in one of the FIRST carinival scenes to walk by with a handfull of baloons. she walks right infront of the camera, I meet up with her and my sis, and we go watch a juggler.

I seemed to stand out a lot. maybe because i was wearing red, or according to costume designers, the 3 of us "Just looked so damn good." One of the AD's (assistant directors) grabs me, and starts directing me to go everywhere. Walk one way.. walk that way.. come back this way.. Dont be afraid to get near the actors!, constantly repeated.

After repeating that movement for a few hours.. we take a water break.. the heat was unbelieveable, and no shade anywhere!.. despite them giving out sunscreen, i still got burnt. there was a lot of miming, and pretending to talk, laugh, act as tho you were really at a fair. Altho between takes we couldnt talk to them. We werent really allowed to take pix on set eithere, but.. my cameras flash doesnt show up in sunlight.. so i snuck a few durring takes.

i looked everywhere i could for that freakin car.. but i did find out, after talking to Don.. er.. dunno his last name but he works on the show.. and he said the car lives and they fix it up via the credit card fraud.

So durring breaks, i got talking a lot to Steve, who was in charge of volunteer extras. He was the freakin coolest, reminded me of my uncle. So we bugged eachother a lot. He didnt work on the show itself, so i couldnt get a contact out of him.. he just worked wherever he needed to go, kind of thing. Anyway.. so we start talking and it old him about the fansite. Supernaturalplanet.com.. the rest of the day im nicknamed stalker, and all show related questions were now reverted to me. "what kind of car is it they drive?" "whats this episode about?" "whats the show about?"

a lot of people who were there didnt really know what it was, exacly.. they were there because of their agent, or school... but there were a few fans, too. the fans were the ones that came from all over the place. two french tourists, a girl from victoria ... both of whom i ended up talking to a lot... and get this.. two biker dudes!

they did a draw at the end of the day, for a free 20" colour tv.. Jared and Jensen did the draw. a little girl.. must've been about 10 or so, won the tv. Jared then goes "ok.. the rest of you can take out your anger on mat!" some random guy in the crowd.

Jessica, this girl i just met there, grabs me, and pulls me violently throught the crowd. the guys are chatting away to people. She gives Jensen a drawing she did of him. Jared walks by.. "wow, did you draw that?! thats SO good!" she says "yeah i did! im sorry, i havent drawn you yet!" hes like "dont be sorry, its so good!!".. snuggles jensen from behind, starts petting his sideburn area, and goes "Jensen draws really good.... reaaaly good." She tries to get my book singed but jensen gets yanked away to film.

a few minutes later, Jess and Steve (Extras guy) come practically running to me.. Steve goes "I've been looking everywhere for you! here!" and shoves me into the tent.. and there stands.. JARED FREAKIN PADALECKI! taking pix and signing whatever. So jess shoves me through the crowd, getting jared to sign my poster i bought online. she goes "Jared! can u sign the poster for my friend?! she co runs a fansite!.. (parctically shouts) SUPERNATURALPLANET.COM!

my god.. are those boys hot in person. Jared is a DOLL! I didnt get to talk to Jensen at the time, because he was filming..he was gona be back but i had to leave because it was getting late.. and my mom was my ride and she has to be up at 4am for work. JARED is just a sweetheart! I tried several damn times to get a pic..I tried to take a pic but everytime someone else would hold the Camera, it would shut off..I told him, its been dropped and kicked all over the place. It did it about 5 times.. Jared was so unbelievably patient with it! But at the same time, he had to hurry up to go film, and other people were there. So, he posed for me instead! Gave me the cutest jared grin ever. My dad gets into it too, getting a signed pic.

I asked him to sign my poster, thinking he already had a pen on him.. So hes like "sure, ill sign." and mimes signing with his finger, just goofing off.. he says "it doesnt work that way, ive tried! anyone got a pen?"... 50 pens appear.

I was actualy surprised at how cool everyone was on set.. all the workers.. even a few from jail. The food was awesome too. we got loads of breakfast.. Bacon, sausage, waffles, fruit, pancakes, hasbrowns..even cereal!... the bacon wasnt bad.the late lunch/dinner at 5:30pm, was better. turky sub with noodle salad, date bar, can of ice cold pop, and an apple. there was also a snack tent set up, too.. muffins, dougnuts, fruit... and lots, and lots of water.
